Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Despite being referred to as a Jammy Dodger, due to the ubiquitous use in the UK, the biscuit the Eleventh Doctor threatens the Daleks with in Victory of the Daleks is not actually a Jammie Dodger brand biscuit. The biscuit used closely resembles other brands such as Fox's Biscuits jam ring cream, Tesco Jam Sandwich Creams Biscuit, or most accurately (Christie) Peek Frean's Fruit Creme Biscuit which all look similar to a Jammie Dodger but each contain cream filling as well as jam with a circular hole in the centre, instead of the heart-shaped one which is the trademark of Burton's Biscuit Co. , the "Jammie Dodger" branded cookie.

Later on in the series, due to a boost in sales attributed to the show, Burton's Jammy Dodgers as well as its packaging can be seen in various episodes.
