Irish writer S. Brennan once pitched two stories to an ultimately-cancelled Doctor Who book.

They pitched two short stories to the ultimately-cancelled BBC Books Doctor Who anthology, Legends of Earth, which had reached out to writers from beyond the United Kingdom to create stories based on their local folklore. These stories, pitched in the summer of 2020, included one featuring the Sixth Doctor and St. Bridget of Kildare, while the other would have seen the Second Doctor encountering Fionn mac Cumhaill. Development on the book was ultimately halted, apparently due to poor sales of other BBC Books Doctor Who projects around that time.[1]
