Starpods were a technology of the 22nd century used for short-range journeys. Paula Engado, Yukio Nakaguchi, and other Project Eden crew members designed a starpod to travel into the atmosphere of the gas giant Lucifer. Miles Engado and Piper O'Rourke eventually used it.
