After a Dalek War, a Dalek flying saucer travelled to the planet Exxilon in search of parrinium. According to The Secret Lives of Monsters, the Exxilon Gambit was the final action of the Third Dalek War, (PROSE: The Secret Lives of Monsters) identified by the Time Lords as taking place in the late 27th century. The saucer's crew used modified silver Dalek drone casings with "multiphase" black sensor globes like the grey Daleks, designated by the Time Lords as the Type V Dalek.
