The Doctor's moped was a small, blue Vespa motor-scooter that the Tenth Doctor kept in the TARDIS, along with appropriate crash helmets.
The Doctor and Rose Tyler rode on the moped when they thought they had arrived at New York City in 1956 to see Elvis Presley perform. Although they found themselves in London in 1953 instead, their clothes and the moped did not look out of place. The Doctor later gave his scooter to Tommy Connolly, who helped him defeat the Wire. He told Tommy to wait until he was old enough to drive before riding it. (TV: The Idiot's Lantern)
