Judoon lifepods were small space pods that were ejected in emergencies, for example before Judoon rockets crashed on a planet.
Captain Tybo used such a lifepod when his prison ship with Androvax on Earth. It fell down ten miles away from the rocket, in the abandoned Brindley Chase Council Estate. (TV: Prisoner of the Judoon)
