She also made appearances on The Saint, Z-Cars, Softly, Softly and Emmerdale Farm. In the mid-1990s, she landed her only major recurring role, that of Olive King on Julia Smith's ill-fated Eldorado soap opera, made by Verity Lambert's production company. She later appeared on Little Britain (with Tom Baker, Matt Lucas and David Walliams) and Casualty.
