The SS Humphrey Bogart was the ship purchased cheaply by Professor Shulough, with an equally inexpensive crew, to find the paradise planet she had sought after for some time. It began its life as a sleek speedster in the possession of a very rich man, who, not earning all his credits honestly, had it repossessed. It was then used by the tax authorities until it was pressed into military service. By the time it was retired, it had undergone so many repairs that very little, if any, of the original ship was left. Its hyperspace engines were salvaged from a wrecked freighter and a section of the hull was from a disused navigational buoy. It used trisilicate as fuel. (PROSE: The Price of Paradise)
Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]
The ship is clearly named after Humphrey Bogart.
