Penguin Random House (PRH) is a publishing company which published Doctor Who: The Essential Guide and Doctor Who: The Essential Guide (Twelfth Doctor Edition). It was formed in 2013 as the result of a merger between Penguin Books and Random House.

In 2020, Penguin Random House was completely acquired by German conglomerate Bertelsmann.^[1]
