Analysis Lessons[1][2][3] was a mini-episode exclusively published on the BBC website on 13 May 2011[1][3] by the BBC and Punchdrunk to coincide with the immersive experience The Crash of the Elysium. It was part of the range of fiction published online as as part of the viral marketing for the experience, with a series of clues left in the "Fourth Dimension" pages on the website leading to it; initially, the mini-episode's connection to The Crash of the Elysium was unclear, it was only when it was linked to on the official page for the immersive experience in early June, the connection became clear.[3]

The title is an anagram of "Lonely Assassins",[4] another name for the Weeping Angels, the antagonists of the immersive experience.
