Gina Scalzi was one of the original crew of Baby Station Beta, serving as the comms officer. She left the ship under protest on Pacifico date 56-56-22 once the ship was defunded, knowing that the babies would be left behind uncared for. (TV: Space Babies [+]Loading...["Space Babies (TV story)"])
Behind the scenes
Susan Twist, who was not credited for the role, has also appeared as Mrs Merridew in Wild Blue Yonder [+]Loading...["Wild Blue Yonder (TV story)"], a woman in The Church on Ruby Road [+]Loading...["The Church on Ruby Road (TV story)"]), and a Tea Lady in The Devil's Chord [+]Loading...["The Devil's Chord (TV story)"]. The script of The Church on Ruby Road implies all of Twist's characters, including Scalzi, are connected in some way.[1] However, as no connection has been revealed in any valid source, the characters remain separate on this wiki.
