She used the knowledge the Doctor gave her, she got the Dot to redirect its attacks to Ricky, as his name was originally Coombes so he would be higher up on the list. Lindy Pepper-Bean was a resident of Finetime where she worked as a data processor.
Biography
She spent her life using her Bubble, so much that she couldn't walk without its guidance. She initially dismissed the Fifteenth Doctor's warnings around the danger she and her fellow residents were in, blocking him from contacting her. Ruby Sunday later contacted her and convinced her of the danger she was in, showing her that a man-trap was eating one of her colleagues. She then followed the Doctor's instructions to get to a conduit to the underground river.
