Lord Barton was a Regency era aristocrat who took on many lovers, and planned never to marry. He attended some of the Duchess of Pemberton's balls, and was generally considered to be an eligible bachelor in well-to-do circles. Described as a "rake", he had "dishonoured" Lord Galpin's sister in numerous locations, including the library, the kitchen and the stables. Whilst taking a promenade outside during one of these balls, Barton was confronted by Galpin about his behaviour, to which Barton responded by suggesting Galpin challenge him to a duel. Galpin, secretly a Chuldur in disguise, decided he found Barton's character more interesting and killed him, assuming his form. (TV: Rogue [+]Loading...["Rogue (TV story)"])
