She was not of high status, compared to other guests at the Duchess of Pemberton's ball. According to her Chuldur counterpart, she wished for the chance to marry someone of note, and otherwise was resigned to marry anyone.
At least her Chuldur counterpart was approached by Lord Barton, or his counterpart, for sexual encounters outside of wedlock. The Fifteenth Doctor hypothesised that much of the drama at the party that evening was in fact the Chuldur cosplaying. (TV: Rogue [+]Loading...["Rogue (TV story)"])
