Joshua Steele was a drinker at Y Pren Marw inn at Glyngatwg in Wales.
As he was about to head home for the night for his tea, Ruby Sunday asked him to ask the Woman where the Fifteenth Doctor had gone and why she was following her. Joshua agreed and left the pub. As Ruby, Enid Meadows, and everyone else in the pub watched through the window, Joshua tried to talk to the woman, then screamed and ran away. The next day Josh told Lowri that he left town and would never come back. When asked why, he simply responded Lowri should "ask her", whom she mistook to mean Ruby, rather than the Woman.
Decades later, after his own encounter with the Woman, Roger ap Gwilliam used the exact same phrase as a response to reporters asking why he stepped down as Prime Minister. (TV: 73 Yards [+]Loading...["73 Yards (TV story)"])
