Monster Mix was an in-universe puzzle published in the second issue of Doctor Who Magazine. Marking the first instalment of DWM's puzzle page, it was a wordsearch of twenty of the Doctor's enemies.
The solution to the puzzle was printed in DWM 3, the following issue.
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
Fearing that the weather could be as dreary as most Octobers in Britain tend to be, as an "added bonus" the Fourth Doctor arranges for the "MONSTER MIX" to be added to this week's issue. He hides the names of twenty of his past foes in a "maze of letters" for the readers to find.
Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]
Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- Almost all of the enemies in Monster Mix had been seen at least once on the televised Doctor Who series. The sole exception was "Vega Nexous" which seems to be an original creation for this feature whose history with the Doctor was never elaborated upon, though in DWM 6's A Letter from the Doctor the titular letter was sent from The Vega Nexous Motel.
