"The End Draws Near" was a musical piece composed by Murray Gold.
It was used in Part 1 of The End of Time, during a conversation between the Tenth Doctor and Wilfred Mott. It has a sombre tone, reflecting the Doctor's fear of dying at the hands of the Saxon Master.
The piece is featured on Murray Gold's soundtrack Doctor Who: Series 4 - The Specials.
