Xana was Kane's lover and a member of his criminal gang on Proamon. She killed herself to avoid being arrested and tried for her crimes, although Kane reflected that she had been killed resisting arrest.

Her image and history were recalled in an archive within the Dragon. Kane had a ice statue erected in her honour. Kane killed its sculptor after he had finished it but the statue melted in an assassination attempt on him. (TV: Dragonfire)
