Pellucidar was a location from various Edgar Rice Burroughs books; including the comic, Tarzan at the Earth's Core. It was an underground world which features prehistoric fauna including dinosaurs, Ice Age fauna, sabre-toothed tigers, pterosaurs, and Neanderthals.
