The Machine was one of the earliest forms of TARDIS. It was created in the time of Omega, and The Other used it to get Patience off of ancient Gallifrey.
Description
The Machine was primarily a central column, nearly a mile tall, with ten meter-thick cables spilling off of it. While primarily grey in colour, some panels of its surface had been removed to reveal yellow and orange light sources. ==
The cables and power couplings had grown off of the Machine, in an organic fashion, over the course of the millions of years it had lay buried under the ice of a remote planet.
==
At its base was a door leading to a small antechamber that functioned as a control room. The Machine was dimensionally immanent, making it smaller on the inside than the outside. (MA: Cold Fusion)
Behind the Scenes
The description of the interior of the Machine resembles the interior of TARDIS as seen in the film Dr. Who and the Daleks.
