Slade was a band. One of their songs was "Merry Xmas Everybody", (PROSE: Not in My Back Yard) which they released in 1973. Six years later, the song was still incredibly popular in Britain, much to Clive Finch's annoyance. (PROSE: The Persistence of Memory) Erimem was a fan of the band. (PROSE: Message in the Cards)
