You may be looking for Alydon (Dr. Who and the Daleks).

Alydon was the leader of the Thals after Temmosus's death.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Alydon and the rest of the Thals were led by Temmosus to the Dalek City in search of food. He discovered the TARDIS in the petrified jungle and left a case of anti-radiation drugs for its crew. Later, he met Susan Foreman and gave her his cloak and an extra case of the drug.

After Temmosus's murder by the Daleks, Alydon became leader. Despite the Daleks' actions, Alydon refused to wage war due to the effects that war had had on Skaro in the past. The First Doctor and Ian Chesterton orchestrated a ruse in which they threatened to hand over his love, Dyoni, to the Daleks for experimentation, provoking Alydon to fight to protect her. This convinced him to fight the Daleks.

While Ian and Barbara Wright led a party of Thals to find a way into the Dalek city via the water supply, Alydon worked with the Doctor to disable the Daleks' surveillance equipment. Although the Doctor and Susan were captured, their plan worked. The Thals gained entry to the city. They fought the Daleks in a pitched battle that ended in victory for the Thals. After the TARDIS departed, Alydon settled into a life with Dyoni and worked with their people to rebuild Skaro. (TV: The Daleks [+]Loading...["The Daleks (TV story)"])
