Appearances

I've said before, and I'll say again, we do not list characters, species etc to have appeared until the airing of an episode. Please do not add The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang to any of the characters' pages until the episodes air. The Thirteenth Doctor 11:23, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

Apparantly, you did say before and again, frankly you did, and to let you informed by previous actions, the Cybus Cybermen have been marked in the list of appearances as The Pandorica Opens/The Big Bang. And I thought 'we' were supposed to continue this action. So, what is your current opinion. Duelfight 12:30, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

  • They can be marked as appearing in The Pandorica Opens and The Big Bang articles because those articles have spoiler tags on them. Their own pages don't have spoiler tags on them, and they are not supposed to as they are main articles and should be readable without spoilers. As for the cybermen, I've fixed that, and if you see any others, you should remove them as well. Until the airing of the episodes, their appearance in it is classed as a spoiler and should not be noted on their pages. The Thirteenth Doctor 11:46, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
  • I recognise what you mean, and I agree to removing others, and I now understand you. To prevent this, should they be semi-protected? Duelfight 14:40, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
  • There's probably no point with only two days to go. And, I think you've been adding {{semi-protect}} to some pages haven't you. Just to let you know, this doesn't actually protect them, you need an admin to protect it, that tag is just so other users know that the page is protected. --The Thirteenth Doctor 13:59, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
  • I do protect them, that is correct. And I have noticed it hasn't been working. Thanks for the tip though. I only add them because unregistered contributor's could be warned by the message. Also, why have you put 13:59 at the end of your reply. Did you mean 14:59? Duelfight, 13:05, June 17 2010 (UTC)
  • Yeah, for some reason my timing is out... darn contrafaxilator is playing up again... The Thirteenth Doctor 14:09, June 17, 2010 (UTC)
  • Is there a crack in one of your walls? Duelfight15:11, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

Uploading Images

When uploading images, can you please make sure you are not uploading duplicates of images. This includes the same picture in different sizes, as you did with this and this, which are resized duplicates of this image. Thanks. The Thirteenth Doctor 19:02, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

I tried to resize some of my images, to make sure I have the right size. I did plan to delete them, but something kept on standing in my way. I do plan to delete them incarnation thirteen, but I never have the time. Duelfight 0:46, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

  • What to do in future is, instead of uploading a new file, you upload a new version of the same file, on the File History section of the files's page you'll see a link that says upload a new version of this file. If you click that button it will allow you to upload a new version of it. The Thirteenth Doctor 09:53, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
  • That is what I was saying, but it is always at the last minute. I agree to what you said, and I have made several attempts at this now. Have you got the time wrong again? Duelfight 11:43 June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Duplicate Images

Hi, please do NOT upload duplicate images. Use the images on the site already. The Sontaran images you uploaded were duplicates of File:Staal2.jpg. Thanks, User:Solar Dragon/Signature 11:38, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

I was mistaken, Solar Dragon, for a few times. If I do it again, delete my previous images. I am still editing the Sontaran article, and I plan to delete the duplicates after. Duelfight 12:52, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

YOUR image is the duplicate. Stop adding it in. The older image links to more places so do not add it in again. This is edit warring which is not wanted here. Your images are marked for deletion too. User:Solar Dragon/Signature 12:00, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
I will stop adding it in!!!!! And do not mark my images for deletion. And don't stop doing things with capitals! And If you don't want me here, I will delete my user!
I have marked them for deletion as duplicate images should be deleted. Also, you can't delete your user. See w:c:help:Help:Close my account for more details. User:Solar Dragon/Signature 12:12, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
Oh, I thought you meant the images that are not duplicates. Anyway, I don't need my duplicates. And I will choose to carry on.
Oh, sorry if I didn't make myself clear. User:Solar Dragon/Signature 12:21, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
Please STOP uploading various sizes of this image File:ThePandoricaOpens.PNG both 'File:Pandoricaopenssoldierspromo.png' and 'File:Pandoricaopenspromo.png' were a lower resolution than the image currently being used on The Pandorica Opens page, I'm not really sure why you were even uploading the same image at a lower resolution. --Tangerineduel 14:30, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
