Hammond's other credits included roles on Armchair Theatre, Love Story, Journey to the Unknown and Paul Temple. However, he is best remembered for playing PC Taylor on Z-Cars and Stephen Graham on Kate. He also appeared as Tom Martinus in the Hammer horror film The Plague of the Zombies and O'Neil in the comedy spy film Where the Bullets Fly.
