Kenneth Cope (14 April 1931[1][2]-11 September 2024[3]) played Packard in the Doctor Who television story Warriors' Gate.
He was subsequently considered for the role of Ratcliffe in Remembrance of the Daleks. (TCH 44)

He is best known for playing the ghostly Marty Hopkirk in the ITC private detective series Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). He also played Jed Stone in the long-running ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 1961-66, and again in 2008-09.

He is the father of Bad Wolf guest actress Martha Cope.
