Anglica was a small town with a cathedral.
On 23 March 1526, the Eleventh Doctor and Amy Pond went to the town because the Doctor wanted to find out why it vanished on that day. While exploring the town, they encountered the Weeping Angels. Amy was lured into a trap and sent back in time to 1446. The Doctor followed her in the TARDIS, but, since the Angels were too strong in 1446, they returned to 1526 to defeat them.
