Matteusz's father was deeply religious and did not approve of his son being gay. He argued with his wife about this. She almost accepted him, but he was too stubborn about Matteusz's sexuality. This bad temperament was only made worse once he discovered that Matteusz wanted a boyfriend. He argued with Matteusz about Charlie, and in the end, he threw Matteusz out of their house in October 2016. (TV: For Tonight We Might Die, Nightvisiting)
