Paul Grist (born 9 September 1960[1]) is an Eisner Award nominee originally from Sheffield, most associated with his original characters, Kane and Jack Staff. Within DWU comic franchises, he was the writer, penciller and inker of the fifth and sixth parts of the Torchwood comic story Rift War!. He was also the penciller of the Doctor Who comic story Ghosts of the Northern Line.
He has been particularly active with IDW Publishing. Not only did he pencil, ink and provide the main cover for The Time Machination, he was also the main cover artist for Doctor Who (2009). He did the "A" covers for all issues of that series, except for the annual.
