Thomas Erasmus Flanagan was evacuated to Cardiff at the age of eight, during the London Blitz in 1941.
His mother and elder sister died during the war, so he never returned to London. Due to a paper error, he wasn't picked up with the other children and was accidentally left overnight on his own in the train station. He was eventually picked up when the error was discovered. His fear and helplessness were so strong the quantum transducer could still read it long after the war was long over.
In the 2000s, Flanagan was questioned by Gwen Cooper, who had witnessed this event using the transducer. At this point, he had an adult daughter named Eleri. (TV: Ghost Machine [+]Loading...["Ghost Machine (TV story)"])
