Hermann Fegelein was one of the closest aides to Reichsfuehrer-SS Heinrich Himmler. He was married to Eva Braun's sister, Gretl.
Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]
At some point prior to 1945, Fegelein married Gretl Braun.
During the final days of the Second World War, Fegelein was stationed in the Führerbunker. After Himmler left the bunker and began secret negotiations with the Allies, an enraged Adolf Hitler declared him a traitor. Fegelein, as a close aide of Himmler, was executed on Hitler's orders on 28 April for attempting to leave the bunker without permission.
