Pioneers of Flight was a feature in The Dr Who Annual 1969. It referred to Leonardo da Vinci, the Montgolfier brothers, the Wright brothers, Charles Lindbergh, John Alcock, Arthur Brown, Frank Whittle, Charles Yeager, and Yuri Gagarin.
