Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Newsnight have previously had items on Doctor Who news. At various points, they teased the identity of the Thirteenth Doctor to be both Tom Ellis and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

In the real world, and implied to be the case in the DWU by Martha Jones' MySpace blog and The Vault of Secrets, the programme was presented by Jeremy Paxman from 1989 to 2014.
