Pen was a human colonist and artist.
She enjoyed leaving the safety of her studio at night in order to gaze out into the seas of the ocean planet she lived on, listening for screams. Her artistic mind meant that she saw this world in all of its beauty, claiming that the light of the moons and the way it skimmed the waves resembled mouths. She helped Sarah Jane Smith to get some new dry clothes and helped her in her investigations.
