A rebellion was when the oppressed rose up against their oppressors.
Following the repulsion of the 2150s Dalek invasion of Earth, other subjugated races began their own rebellions against the Dalek Empire. (PROSE: Dalek: The Astounding Untold History of the Greatest Enemies of the Universe)
