Reeltime Pictures is an independent British media production company headed by Keith Barnfather, it is known for its many documentaries about Doctor Who, particularly the Myth Makers series of interviews. Reeltime also produced Wartime, the first independently-made spin-off video set in the Doctor Who universe (though not featuring the Doctor himself) and several short Doctor Who-inspired comedy films such as "The Corridor Sketch" which was later included on BBC Video DVD releases of the main Doctor Who series, such as The Beginning.
A regular contributor to Reeltime was Nicholas Briggs, who worked as an interviewer and writer with the Myth Makers series and also starred in the Myth Runner parody film. Briggs also worked with Audio Visuals, BBV Productions and Big Finish Productions and later would work for the main Doctor Who series from 2005 onwards.
Although issuing fewer releases by the late 2000s, Reeltime Pictures continued to produce occasional entries in the Myth Makers series.
In 2015, Reeltime Pictures launched a new website called Time Travel TV, where you can purchase their old and new releases on DVD, but also digitally using Vimeo's Video on Demand feature.
Some new releases offered archival material for the first time; an unreleased pilot for a children's series starring Sophie Aldred from 1990, Sophie's Choice, was finally released in November 2015.
