On 2 April 2005, the new webmaster of Who is Doctor Who? thanked Bernard Ho for their help with that week's update. (PROSE: The Doctor Was Involved in the Dummy Massacre)

Although similar in nature to the user-created characters in The Doctor Was Involved in the Dummy Massacre, Bernard Ho was included in the main text of the story and therefore was created by the BBC webteam.
