Blasting the Past was a documentary about the making of the Doctor Who television story Day of the Daleks. It was one of the features on the Day of the Daleks Special Edition DVD. People interviewed on camera included Ben Aaronovitch, Anna Barry, Nicholas Briggs, Paul Cornell, Terrance Dicks, John Friedlander, Barry Letts, Katy Manning, Ricky Newby, Dave Owen and Jim Winston.
