Race Against Time was a documentary that appeared on the 2|entertain DVD of The Mutants. It featured Noel Clarke and explored the casting decisions of Doctor Who production teams through the ages. It discussed whether there was evidence of racism in the programme's past. It also briefly explored whether BBC Wales Doctor Who had attempted to address the issue.
