- 2002 - The Big Finish audio story The Sandman was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2005 - An employee of a company related to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation leaked a copy of Rose, the very first episode of the BBC Wales version of Doctor Who, onto the internet three weeks before the episode's official release.
- 2009 - The Big Finish audio story The Glorious Revolution was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2012 - Big Finish's audiobook adaptation of the unproduced TV story The Queen of Time was recorded at the Moat Studios.
- 2013 - The Big Finish audio story An Ordinary Life was recorded at at the Moat Studios.
