additions of story names in template[[edit source]]
I think this would benefit from including the stories villain/alien appeared in before their names, with the story names both bolded and put in italics. as you can see here, I started off with Season 1:
http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Template:Season_1_aliens
just hit "edit" and you can work on that and other templates. I think if a given baddy appears more than once in a story, just list them once, except in the case of a baddy who appears in every story (as in Season 8 where the Master appeared in every story, and 23. where the Valeyard and the Time Lords appeared in every story). then just put them at the head of the template and do the rest as usual. --Stardizzy2 16:47, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- This seems a little bit of a case of over egging the souffle, The aliens and enemies templates are already pretty bulky and often add significant bulk to the end of a page (Dalek for instance). I think we should look at at methods of decreasing the amount of text in these boxes rather than increasing it. --Tangerineduel 17:02, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- I can understand that. I thought that these additions would make the templates more informative for newer fans who don't know Who backwards and forwards, so that they can make sense of these somewhat random references. --Stardizzy2 17:05, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- Perhaps, but the title is clickable, the enemies are links. The articles that have the templates on them have links on them and practically all the major article have infoboxes on them which also help to place everything.
- Also it would get a little confusing for enemies that appear twice in a season, then you have to list them twice or put the stories out of order. --Tangerineduel 17:48, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
- didn't understand the first paragraph. --Stardizzy2 17:51, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
