"Father's Day" was a piece of music written by Murray Gold for Doctor Who. It was used intermittently throughout Father's Day, and in The Parting of the Ways, as Rose tells her mother about the events of Father's Day. It later appeared in Rise of the Cybermen as a minor leitmotif for Pete Tyler.
