The story was a DWU edition of [[Shaw Taylor]]'s long-running five-minute ITV crime prevention series ''[[Police 5 (series)|Police 5]]'' (1962-1990).

 

It aired on [[BBC One]] alongside a repeat airing of ''[[Planet of the Daleks (TV story)|Planet of the Daleks]]'' episode five, as part of a series of featurettes called ''[[Doctor Who and the Daleks (featurettes)|Doctor Who and the Daleks]]''.
