Urm ... inside Chris Eccleston and David Tennant's TARDIS, where is the door to all of the other rooms? I've never noticed it on any of the episodes - and yet they talk of other rooms a lot.– The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.46.148.254 (talk).
- I may be almost 15 years too late, but there isn't one shown! Obviously, in Doylist (ie. real world) terms, there are production reasons for this. In-universe, there clearly is a door somewhere, as the TARDIS wardrobe is seen in TV: The Christmas Invasion [+]Loading...["The Christmas Invasion (TV story)"], and many other rooms are mentioned, most notably in TV: The Eleventh Hour [+]Loading...["The Eleventh Hour (TV story)"].
- As for where it might be: this goes into the realm of speculation, but the answer is clear enough. Unlike some later TARDIS control rooms, like, say, the Twelfth Doctor's (surprise! Peter Capaldi), Tennant's TARDIS wasn't a fully enclosed set.
- Instead, it's actually fully open on the side where the camera usually is. We never see that side of the TARDIS! Not once. (Not sure about the situation in TV: The Day of the Doctor [+]Loading...["The Day of the Doctor (TV story)"] specifically off-hand, as that one was partially reconstructed...) So it stands to reason that the entrance to the nearest corridor was behind the camera all along! Great question. I'd recommend keeping indoors in about 9 years, by the way...
