Withnail and I was a film released in 1987. Ace saw it at the cinema a few days before she was transported to Iceworld. She thought it was funny (although her friends didn't get it) and she fancied the actor who played Withnail. (PDA: Independence Day) Fitz Kreiner mentions having worked at "the Mother Black Cap in Camden Town in the sixties"; the film takes place in the sixties and features a fictional pub of the same name in the same location. Withnail and I starred Richard E. Grant and Paul McGann, both of whom went on to play different incarnations of the Doctor.
