The Great Crystal was a special item created by the advanced civilization | The Great Crystal was a special item created by the [[Manussan Empire|advanced civilization]] on [[Manussa]]. They developed the crystal with the use of their minds in zero gravity. Unfortunately their dark thoughts unintentionally created the [[Mara]] as well. After being defeated by the Doctor, the Mara sought out the great crystal in order to regain a physical body for itself. The Great Crystal was a special item created by the advanced civilization on Manussa. They developed the crystal with the use of their minds in zero gravity. Unfortunately their dark thoughts unintentionally created the Mara as well. After being defeated by the Doctor, the Mara sought out the great crystal in order to regain a physical body for itself.
