Series 4 of Torchwood is a 10-part serialized series of Torchwood scheduled for broadcast in summer 2011. It is being written by Russell T Davies and produced by BBC Wales and Starz Entertainment. It will star John Barrowman as Jack Harkness and Eve Myles as Gwen Cooper as well as two new characters. It will be set partially in Wales and the United States of America. [1]

  • Eve Myles has stated that filming for Series 4 will begin early January 2011 and that the whole team will be moving to America for 7 and half months. [4]

Writers

Notes

  • Andrew Cartmel has stated that he will be writing an episode for series 4, calling it "The Jinx" and for it to be broadcast on BBC One. This is yet to be confirmed. [7]
  • American Television writer Bryan Fuller was spotted in a meeting with Russell T Davies and Julie Gardiner and is rumoured to be writing an episode. [8]

Broadcast dates

  • Series 4 is rumoured to be broadcast in summer 2011 on both BBC1 and Starz.
