Summary
The Doctor, John and Gillian return to Trodos to make peace with the Trods only to find the Dalek's have arrived there earlier, have wiped out the Trods and are waiting for the travellers. An underground collapse allows them to escape into the Trods underground city and meet up wth the survivors of the attack. The Trods befriend the Doctor and help the travellers escape back to the Tardis. The Doctor vows to fight back aganst the growing menace of the Daleks.

Notes
This strip marks the first use of the Daleks in the main Doctor Who comic strip after their stint in TV21.
At the end of the story the Doctor doesn't ether defeat the Daleks or liberate the Trods, who are presumably still under dalek occupation.
Continuity
- The Daleks clearly recognise the Second Doctor.
- The Trods at the end of the strip have made peace with the Doctor (even if they all are virtually wiped out!).
