Units was a currency used by the Bannermen and others. The reward offered by the Bannermen for the location of the Chimeron queen, Delta, was one million units. A mercenary named Keillor gave them the information but the Bannermen killed him to they would not have to pay him. (DW: Delta and the Bannermen)
