Colonel Tia Karim was a member of UNIT.
Biography
Tia worked with the Claw Shansheeth of the 15th Funeral Fleet, a rogue group of Shansheeth, in order to travel the stars in the Doctor's TARDIS, she felt nothing left for her on Earth. To reach her goal, she acted as a representative chosen to inform Sarah Jane Smith of the death of the Doctor. Once she accepted to come to the funeral, along with Rani Chandra and Clyde Langer, Tia showed them around the UNIT base.
