Inspector Mackenzie was sent to Gabriel Chase to investigate the dissapearance of George Pritchard.

Biography

Unknown to Macknezie, George had been murdered by his own daughter, Gwendoline, under the suggestion of the renegade Josiah Samuel Smith, formerly beholden to the alien known as Light. Light and his ship, now resided in the basement of the house. Light himself had gone into a form of stasis.

Mackenize arrived at the house during or prior to 1883 or perhaps earlier. Smith used hypnosis on Mackenize and put him into suspended animation in a drawer. In 1883, the Doctor revived him by clicking his fingers constantly in front of his face. The inspector then set about continuing the murder investigation and soon reasoned that something was not right. After Light woke and decided to destroy all life on Earth, he killed inspector Mackenzie and turned him into soup that he placed on the dinner table. (DW: Ghost Light)
